Eating is out is approximately 1,000% more enjoyable if you can bring your dog with you. There are quite a few restaurants in the East Valley area that have embraced this fact and have dog-friendly patios that you AND your dog will thoroughly enjoy. Here are some of our all-time favorites!
O.H.S.O. Brewery in Downtown Gilbert – O.H.S.O. now has a neighborhood park! It is a massive outdoor playground for adults, kids, & dogs to enjoy.
Sweetz Cold Brew Coffee Co. – This adorable coffee shop lets their customers bring in well-behaved, on-leash dogs. They have recently put up a sign clarifying that dogs must be on leash so please remember this, we don’t want one or two people to ruin it for everyone!
BLD Chandler – This restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! (Get it?) It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and your pup will be welcome on the patio. Ask them for a water bowl too!
Postino Wine Cafe – There are Postinos all over the valley, including in Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale. You’ll love the bruschetta and wine offerings and your pup will appreciate the ambiance of the patio!
QuartHaus – Not exactly a restaurant but “Downtown Chandler’s first Brewstillery” has lots of drink options and it’s completely dog-friendly inside and out! There are not many places in Arizona where you can bring your dog inside with you, so this is one of our favorites!
Please remember to be respectful and aware when you bring your dog to a dog-friendly restaurant or coffee shop! Give other patrons (canine and human alike) plenty of space and try to keep your dog calm, cool, and collected.
